With a construction value of $152,000,000, this building will serve as the regional offices of the US Federal Judiciary Branch and includes courtrooms, judge's chambers, a marshal's office, and holding cells.
U.S. Main Post Office Parking Structure

The Oakland Main Post Office Parking Structure is located at 1675 Seventh Street in Oakland, California. The construction value for the structure was $15,000,000.00. The project consisted of a five story open-air parking structure designed to accommodate 1,051 parking spaces with the potential for a future one story expansion. Construction included a spread footing and ductile grade beam foundation supporting cast-in-place ductile moment-resisting beams and columns. The structural floor construction is a long-span designed post-tensioned concrete deck. The structure serves as primary parking for the adjacent US Main Post Office facility and is a result of the Cypress Freeway realignment in Oakland, California.

The US Federal Office Building and Courthouse is located at 400 Virginia Street in Reno, Nevada. Construction consisted of a spread footing foundation system designed to support a ten story highrise structure with a one-level basement parking garage. The exterior skin is pre-cast concrete spandral panels. The structural floor system is concrete over metal deck with steel beams using composite space frames. With a construction value of $32,000,000.00, this building serves as the regional offices of the US Federal Judiciary Branch to include courtrooms, judge's chambers, marshal's offices, and holding cells.

The Ambulatory Care Center is located at the University of California at Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, California. existing elevator shafts. Construction included waterproofing at the building foundation, installation of structural steel to upgrade elevator guide and counter weight rails, replacing the existing roof, and installation of a comprehensive security system. The building serves as the regional offices for the United States Social Security Administration.

With a construction value of $14,500,000.00, this building serves as the regional office for the Engineering Division of the California Department of Transportation.

The facilities Support Services Building & Fleet Services Facility are located on the U.C. Davis Medical Center Campus at 2315 Stockton Boulevard, Sacramento, California. The main building construction consisted of a 68,000 square foot, three-story, steel-framed structure with concrete spandral beams and concrete masronry facade. Adjacent construction included a 15,000 square foot vehicle maintenance building and associated parking area. Valued at $14,000,000.00, the buildings house offices, shops, and laboratories for the Office of Architects and Engineers, Accounting, and Fleet Service Departments.

Inspection Consultants, Inc, provided special inspection and material testing services during geotechnical, reinforced concrete, structural steel, structural masonry and pre-stressed concrete pile construction. These three story buildings, valued at $74,000,000 and $73,000,000 respectively, were constructed of structural steel using modern "Special Moment Resisting Frame" (SMRF) technology with the exterior building skin comprised of manufactured metal panels, architectural louvers and an aluminum curtain wall system.

The California Veterans Home was placed in operation during 1884 to serve veterans of the U.S. Civil War. Today it provides long-term residential and medical care for over 1400 veterans of 4 different war periods. Located in Yountville, California, this historical facility is undergoing a $78,000,000.00 renovation to achieve accreditation by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Facilities (JCAHO). The scope of work includes interior demolition, seismic renovation, new plumbing and electrical, asbestos abatement, a new laboratory, radiology laboratory, elevators and a new administrative office.

The Embassy Suites Vacation Resort is a six-story, time share condominium constructed of reinforced concrete shear walls and columns supporting post-tension concrete floor slabs. The gable roof is supported by an intricate configuration of welded structural steel. The parking structure consists of a pre-cast skeleton, enhanced with masonry sound walls and structural steel supported roof. Our on-site laboratory, which includes an electronically controlled curing room and calibrated compression testing machine, allowed ICI to provide the client with timely and reliable test results.

The Courtyard by Marriott-Emeryville is an eleven-story, post-tensioned concrete frame structure located at 5555 Shellmound Street in Emeryville, California. Construction on this project consisted of driven concrete piles, cast-in-place concrete pile caps, cast-in-place, post-tensioned concrete slabs, structural steel, concrete masonry units, sprayed-on fireproofing, exterior building skin, and smoke control.
AmeriSuites Hotel
Rancho Cordova and Dublin, California
These AmeriSuites Hotel projects were located in Rancho Cordova and Dublin, California. Inspection Consultants provided special inspection and materials testing services for post-tensioned concrete, structural masonry, structural steel, fireproofing, cast-in-place concrete, and epoxy anchors. These six-story, post tensioned concrete structures each have in excess of 100 rooms each and large conference centers.

The California Environmental Protection Agency Headquarters is located at 5th and I streets in downtown Sacramento, California. This twenty-five story, 950,000 square foot high-rise structure is built on piles with poured-in-place concrete pile caps and grade beams. This structure utilizes a combination of structural steel-moment resistant frame/braced frame, metal floor decking, poured-in-place concrete slabs and spray applied fireproofing. The exterior cladding consists of precast panels with a granite facade.
Marriott Timber Lodge at Lake Tahoe

The Marriott Timber Lodge at South Lake Tahoe is part of the on-going redevelopment of the Park Avenue Area at South Lake Tahoe, California. This project consisted of construction of a 103,000 square foot, subterranean parking structure and 132 rooms. Construction consisted of cast-in-place concrete, post-tensioned concrete, structural masonry, structural steel, soils and fireproofing.
Herlong Federal Correction Institute

The Herlong Federal Prison is located in Herlong, California - approximately 50 miles north of Reno, Nevada. This $150,000,000.00 project includes a 45,000 square foot structure which will house approximately 1150 inmates. Construction consists of tilt-up concrete panels, concrete slab-on-grade, structural steel welding, structural masonry, earthwork, and floor flatness evaluation. Construction is scheduled for completion in 2003.
